One-time $5,000 grant to be awarded at the Quad-A VISION Conference 2026 in Washington, D.C.
BOSTON, MA / ACCESS Newswire / June 4, 2026 / The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation ('Invest in Others') and the Association of African American Financial Advisors (Quad-A) today announced a collaboration designed to shine a spotlight on the charitable impact of Black financial advisors and strengthen community engagement across the financial services industry.
Through this initiative, Invest in Others will award a one-time $5,000 grant to a nonprofit organization championed by a Quad-A member. The selected financial advisor and nonprofit will be recognized at Quad-A's Annual VISION Conference 2026, taking place September 10-12, 2026, in Washington, D.C.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to community impact, industry leadership, and increasing visibility for Black advisors whose service extends far beyond their firms.
'As an organization, we believe deeply in the importance of increasing the presence, influence, and success of Black professionals across the financial services industry,' said Barkley Payne, President and CEO of Invest in Others. 'Black financial advisors are leading transformative work in their communities every day. Through this initiative with Quad-A, we are proud to recognize and support their charitable efforts and help amplify the positive impact they are making.'
Beyond the one-time grant opportunity, Invest in Others will continue to elevate and celebrate the charitable leadership of Black financial advisors through its communications channels, by encouraging submissions to its Grant Program, and recognizing standout advisors at its annual gala. Through this collaboration, Invest in Others aims to shine a broader spotlight on mission-driven work within the Black advisor community, recognizing those who are strengthening neighborhoods, advancing equity, and addressing critical needs. Through storytelling, media outreach, and national recognition, Invest in Others seeks to inspire advisors everywhere to explore how they can support the causes and issues that matter most in their own communities.
Sheena Gray, Chief Executive Officer of Quad-A, said, 'Our mission is rooted in expanding access, opportunity, and influence for Black financial advisors and the communities they serve. By working alongside Invest in Others to highlight charitable leadership, we are reinforcing the vital role our members play not only as wealth managers but as community builders and change agents. We are excited to celebrate one of our members and the nonprofit they champion through this grant at VISION Conference 2026.'
The Association of African American Financial Advisors (Quad-A) is the nation's premier trade association dedicated to increasing the presence, influence, and success of Black/African American professionals across all sectors of the financial services industry. Its mission centers on expanding access to wealth management careers, fostering professional growth, and building a future where every Black family is empowered with comprehensive financial planning resources.
Invest in Others is dedicated to amplifying, celebrating, and inspiring the charitable work of the financial services community. Founded by industry leaders and supported by firms and members of the financial services sector, Invest in Others recognizes financial advisors who are making a difference and grants critical funding to the nonprofits and causes they champion.
Applications for the $5,000 grant will open July 31, with the recipient selected by an independent panel of judges from the industry. The grant recipient will be announced at the VISION Conference 2026 in September.
In addition to the grant announcement, Invest in Others will participate in the VISION Conference 2026, sharing thought leadership focused on how community engagement and philanthropy can strengthen advisory firms, build trust, and support long-term growth.
As part of the broader 2026 initiative, both organizations will collaborate on strategic visibility efforts, including storytelling around the grant recipient, shared thought leadership, and cross-promotion of key events and milestones. This year marks significant milestones for both organizations, with Invest in Others celebrating its 20th anniversary and Quad-A commemorating its 25th anniversary, a powerful reflection of their enduring commitment to strengthening the financial services industry and expanding community impact nationwide.
'By aligning our efforts, Invest in Others and Quad-A aim to elevate the concept that purpose-driven leadership strengthens financial advisors' work and demonstrates how charitable engagement strengthens communities and advisory practices alike,' Payne added.
