On January 13, 2023, Brookdale issued a press release announcing 'select changes to its full-year 2022 financial expectations based on its preliminary, unaudited results'. Among other items, Brookdale reported that '[f]ull-year Adjusted EBITDA will be modestly below the previously issued guidance range.' Brookdale also announced that 'Steven E. Swain, who serves as Brookdale's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will terminate employment effective February 24, 2023.'
On this news, Brookdale's stock price fell $0.18 per share, or 6.19%, to close at $2.73 per share on January 13, 2023.
