Truxx has announced the "Nashville Roxx" program, which assists tornado-affected Nashville residents and businesses to clean up their environment with a free first 30-minute truck-sharing service.
Nashville, TN (Merxwire) - Truxx (Truxxit.com) announces the "Nashville Roxx" program, which waives the minimum fee of $ 39 and provides free first 30 minutes of services to residents and businesses affected by tornadoes. Regular fees will be charged after 30 minutes.
The recent natural disaster has harmed the Nashville community. In order to help the Nashville community restore its tidyness, Truxx offers a discount on the truck-sharing service, hoping to rebuild the community for residents, small businesses and others.
"We have a strong driver community in Nashville and have always been well received there," said Joe Hess, Truxx, Partner and Chief Operating Officer, "We know the challenges of rebuilding in the wake of such a weather event. It can be a long process. It's our hope Truxx can help - even if it's in some small measure."
Users in the affected area who need the Truxx service simply enter 'NashvilleRoxx' in the description and the initial $39 fee will be waived and the first 30 minutes free.
Truxx is a popular truck-sharing service and the first to build a national driver network. Truck-sharing is similar to popular ride-sharing services like Lyft or Uber, however their drivers have pickups or vans and they help users move items too big for their cars. Users can easily schedule and rate drivers and make cash-free payments by simply downloading the free app. Like many sharing services, Truxx offers driver location services, in-app messaging and driver background checks. The Truxx app is currently available for download on App Store and Google Play.
